End-to-end workflow, from inquiry to final delivery:
Inquiry Response Timelines
A Different Eye Media LLC thrives in timely communication. Trust within 24 hours, usually sooner, you will receive a reply.
Contract & Invoice Process
After there has been an agreed upon package within 24 hours, usually sooner, we will send over a contract that must be signed by both client and A Different Eye Media LLC.
At this time the invoice for the package will be sent as well. Invoices require a deposit and the remaining amount will be due by date of the services needed.
Pre-Production: Shot & Gear List
Proper planning prevents poor performance.
We like to ensure we have our bases covered so during this time we will be planning and taking the best course for action. Internally we go by a shot list and a gear list for organization.
The shot list plans the shots we know we must get in order to execute. The gear list is a checklist to make sure we never forget any equipment.
Shoot-Day Execution
On-Time is late to us!
We will be on site at least 30 min to an hour before services are needed. This allows us to be set up and ready so when the time comes all is needed is execution. We would like to meet with you, the client, to check in once we arrive but after that we will take over and do our jobs.
During execution we are open to communication as long as it is within the scope of the project, any request beyond what was communicated originally may be subject to fees.
Delivery & Follow-Up
Once the services have been completed on shot-day the post-production phase begins. We send our photos and videos via Pixieset, a credible client facing gallery that is easy to use.
Photography turnaround time is 3-5 business days
Videography turnaround time is 7-10 business days
*Depending on the complexity of the project

How far in advance should we book you for our event?
We can communicate and align schedules.
A signed contract and deposit are required to add you to our calendar officially. Dates are reserved on a first-come basis, also note that same day or next day bookings may be subject to a fee
Do you travel?
Yes, Travel within 4 hours driving distance of Charlotte, North Carolina is covered in the regular rate!
Do you charge travel fees?
Anything 4+ hours driving distance outside of Charlotte, North Carolina, or needs a flight, may be subject to ‘rate + room’.
This means we require our rate plus a hotel room for the duration of the time needed there.
Please note only a hotel room is needed and you will not have to pay for flight tickets, rental cars, Ubers, meals, luggage fees, etc...
Do you offer same-day edits for photos and videos?
Yes, we can provide same-day edits for select projects, such as event highlight videos or headshots, upon request.
This service is subject to availability and additional fees, so please let us know during the booking and planning process if this is something you’re interested in.
How long does it take to receive the final photos and videos?

Do you provide both RAW files and edited deliverables?
Typically we only provide fully edited photos and videos as part of our services.
If you require RAW files, we can include them for an additional fee, which covers the transfer and management of those files.
